Angelina County Green Infrastructure Plan Completed

As reported in the Summer 2008 edition of Texas Pineywoods Quarterly, The Conservation Fund has been working with local officials and citizens of Angelina County, Texas to develop a green infrastructure plan for the region. The Fund is pleased to announce that the Angelina County, Texas Green Infrastructure Plan is now complete.

The Plan highlights connecting river or forested corridors, cultural assets and natural resources that provide ecosystem benefits to the county and the cities of Lufkin, Diboll and Huntington. The plan also identifies the “Top Twelve Implementation Opportunities,” and we have already made significant progress on many of these items (view related article »).
